- Wolves vs Brighton: No – Despite the good form of Wolves, we’re not expecting a goal-laden contest here given that their one-man wrecking crew, Adama Traore, is once again out injured. They have kept clean sheets in three of their last four outings too, while Brighton – admittedly with BTTS landing in five of their last six – are not prolific. Three of those half-dozen were 1-1, so not absolute goal-fests, and last time out they lost 0-1 against Crystal Palace.
- Burnley vs Tottenham: Yes – That’s seven goals conceded in their last three now for Tottenham, and so exasperated is Jose Mourinho by his side’s woes that he dropped the typically invincible Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen in the 2-3 defeat to Wolves. Burnley’s form is haplessly inconsistent, but in amongst the 0-0 draws they have scored two or more goals in four of their last five league games, and that’s a good place for BTTS punters to start.
- Manchester United vs Manchester City: Yes – Old Trafford will be rocking come Sunday afternoon, and that red-hot atmosphere may just unsettle a Manchester City side that will have to make do without the injured Aymeric Laporte. That means that Pep Guardiola faces the dreaded decision to pick either John Stones or Nicolas Otamendi, and either is very much capable of gifting United a goal. Anthony Martial has been impressing lately, and he can lead the home charge here.
- Derby County vs Blackburn Rovers: Yes – Here’s a fantastic price about a team for whom BTTS has landed in each of their last six and 11/13 in all. That’s Derby County, and you have to go back to December to find the last time they failed to find the net in a league game. That run should continue here against a Blackburn side that has conceded in 9/13 and will be without the suspended Darren Lenighan. That said, they are good value in attack having netted twice or more in four of their last five games.
- Peterborough United vs Portsmouth: Yes – When two of the best attacking teams in League One goals should automatically follow, right? Perhaps, but we’re always willing to back the Posh in this market against a capable opponent. They aren’t the most solid defensively – indeed, nobody has conceded more in the top-ten, but an array of attacking talent that includes Szmodics, Dembele, Toney and Eisa is good enough for us. Pompey, meanwhile, have only failed to score twice since October.
