- Norwich City vs Bournemouth: No – Here’s a juicy odds-against shout to get us started this week. Norwich are a decent attacking force with the likes of Emi Buendia and Todd Cantwell shining this term, but it’s hard to get excited about goals here when Teemu Pukki – who has netted 41% of the Canaries’ league goals this term – is battling injury. And don’t even get us started about Bournemouth, who have scored just once in more than 450 minutes of Premier League football!
- Birmingham City vs Cardiff City: Yes – With their last six games witnessing a staggering 27 goals, Birmingham have been firmly on the BTTS radar for a while. Those goals have been spread fairly evenly across the ‘for’ and ‘against’ columns too, which highlights their enterprising style of play (and woeful defending). Cardiff have two 0-0 draws in their recent formline so don’t scream BTTS contenders, however there’s a 3-3 draw, 2-1 win and a 1-6 defeat in their last six too.
- Queens Park Rangers vs Leeds United: Yes – For all their defensive faults, QPR continue to be amongst the Championship’s great entertainers with 96 goals witnessed in their 27 league games so far. BTTS has landed in five of their last six, with 1-3, 6-1, 1-2, 2-2 and 3-5 scorelines telling the tale. Leeds, meanwhile, are on the ropes with just one win in six and 13 goals conceded in that run, albeit with 11 goals netted themselves.
- Wycombe Wanderers vs Rochdale: Yes – After a fine first few months of the season the wheels are coming off at Wycombe, who have suffered four defeats in five and conceded 12 goals along the way. They have a nice fixture to get back to basics here, but Rochdale have won two on the bounce themselves and will head to Adams Park full of gusto.
- Crewe Alexandra vs Cheltenham Town: Yes – It’s been a case of from the sublime to the ridiculous for Crewe, who have a pair of 1-3 defeats in amongst 3-1, 4-1 and 5-1 wins in their last five outings. Goals are the current theme, then, and Cheltenham, with 3-0 and 3-1 wins in their last pair of starts, will be ready to continue their march up the League Two table.
