All Five Results as an Accumulator | 14.66/1 |
- Manchester United vs Leicester City – All of the stats suggest that United should have more than five points from four games so far, and their vibrant attacking play could be enough to see off a Leicester side whose results don’t tell all the story. Some 60% of the Foxes’ shots come from outside the area – a low percentage play, and only Watford, Wolves and Sheffield United average fewer shots on target per game.
- Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Chelsea – The jury is out on Frank Lampard still at Chelsea, but the Blues have been excellent going forward with 6.3 shots on target per game on average and 83% of their goals coming from open play – a sustainable chance of success, basically. The international break has allowed the likes of Kante, Rudiger, Pedro and Kovacic to get back to fitness too. Wolves, without Boly and Doherty here, average just 2.8 shots on target per game this term and have scored a single goal from open play.
- Aston Villa vs West Ham – Take their opening day 0-5 defeat against Manchester City out of the equation, and West Ham’s formline reads W2 D1 L0 with a goal difference of +4. No Premier League side has had more shots from inside the six-yard box than the Hammers as well. Aston Villa have shown very little going forward, with more than half of their shots coming from outside the penalty area.
- QPR vs Luton Town – Mark Warburton has gotten QPR playing some attractive football, and while not always getting the results they deserve ten points from six games – with two wins on the bounce – will please him. We talk about sustainable results, but Luton’s stats – 6/10 goals scored from set pieces, more goals conceded in open play than any other side but Stoke – suggest they have enjoyed a fortunate start to the season.
- Stoke City vs Bristol City – Using any metric you like, Bristol City have started the season much better than Stoke and should not be 5/2 underdogs here. They’ve scored eight in six from open play – nobody has more, and conceded just four from open play themselves. Stoke have conceded at least two goals in each of their games, including 13 in six from open play, and themselves average just 2.70 shots on target per game.
