We were an Orlando City goal away from a full house last week and a welcome 6.86/1 acca winner.
Nevertheless, four out of five successful legs yields profit, and it was another decent turn from our both teams to score betting tips.
And so we go again this week with no change in our usual formula:
Match | Both Teams to Score Yes/No | Odds |
---|---|---|
Colorado Rapids vs LA Galaxy | Yes | 1/2 |
Minnesota United vs Seattle Sounders | Yes | 1/2 |
Gremio vs Flamengo | No | 8/13 |
Parana vs Ceara | No | 4/7 |
Sao Paulo vs Vasco de Gama | Yes | 11/8 |
All Five Results as an Accumulator | 12.56/1 |
Colorado Rapids vs LA Galaxy: Both Teams to Score (Yes)
Colorado Rapids a goal for and against per match at home, and that record looks set to be extended against LA Galaxy.
They have only failed to score in one of their outings on their own patch too, and against a Galaxy side that has conceded 10 goals in their last half-dozen matches they will fancy the job.
The visitors can call upon Zlatan Ibrahimovic, of course, but they are more than just a one-man team with Ola Kamara, Romain Alessandrini and Chris Pontius all capable of finding the net.
Minnesota United vs Seattle Sounders: Both Teams to Score (Yes)
Minnesota’s home form is extraordinary. They have scored 20 goals from open play on home soil – just one behind the best in the business (New York City), and their last four matches on their own patch have ended in 4-3, 3-2, 2-1 and 5-1 victories.
So they are perfectly capable of scoring big – and conceding, and so it will be interesting to see how an in-form Seattle Sounders side goes about their business.
The Sounders are unbeaten in six (W4 D2 L0), and have only failed to score in one of their last ten games; a run which includes five away dates.
Gremio vs Flamengo: Both Teams to Score (No)
These are two of the best defences in the Brazilian Serie A, with Gremio conceding just five goals from open play in sixteen matches and Flamengo seven.
Indeed, the hosts have kept clean sheets in 62% of their matches so far this term, with blanks fired against them in 5/8 on home soil.
Table toppers Flamengo have kept six clean sheets in their last ten starts, and against a side like Gremio that hardly breaks their back in attack this game could devolve into a failry conservative affair.
Parana vs Ceara: Both Teams to Score (No)
In 31 combined Serie A matches so far, Parana and Ceara have scored just 13 goals from open play.
It’s 17 in total from all sources, and so it’s no surprise to note that this duo prop up the league table.
And yet oddly, neither are awful defensively. Ceara have conceded 19 goals – no team in the bottom half of the table has shipped less, while Parana’s goals conceded column of 22 is also highly respectable given the overall theme of the division.
Sao Paulo vs Vasco de Gama: Both Teams to Score (Yes)
It’s a huge price at 11/8 for BTTS here, and given the stats you might be thinking we’ve lost our minds.
But Brazilian football is often predicated by moments of attacking magic in otherwise dreary play, and these two teams possess some of the best creative forces in the division.
Just look at the Sao Paulo trio of Nene, Diego Souza and Everton, who have scored 17 goals between them this term in just 16 starts. That shows that the burden of putting the ball in the net is shared equally.
Vasco de Gama, despite their so-so league position, also possess some decent attacking lights: Andres Rios and the brilliantly-named duo Yago Pikachu and Kelvin are all more thn capable of breaching the deadlock.
