All Five Results as an Accumulator 12.10/1
  • Bournemouth vs Burnley – The history books will forever say that Bournemouth beat Chelsea 1-0 last week, but quite how is anybody’s guess. On the back of five straight defeats, the Cherries were played off the park by the Blues. To make matters worse, their injury list now includes the likes of Ake, H. Wilson, C. Wilson, Cook, King, and Smith. Burnley look far more likely to succeed here, given that they have only lose once to a side outside of the top seven since August.
  • Newcastle United vs Crystal Palace – While they lost on their travels last time out, Newcastle’s unbeaten run on home soil now extends to seven games, with three wins backed by draws against the likes of Manchester City and Wolves. That should be enough to see them home against a Crystal Palace outfit whose form (W2 D2 L2) is misleading: they are getting hammered week in and week out in the Expected Goals count. Their form is simply unsustainable.
  • Manchester City vs Leicester City – As we know, prices often dictate the bets that we place, and on the evidence of the Premier League campaign so far there is no way that Leicester should be 6/1 here. The Foxes have already performed well at Anfield and will have no fear of their trip north, and indeed you can see Jamie Vardy terrorising this rickety Man City backline. Without Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Aymeric Laporte, the hosts can be stifled *if* messrs Sterling and De Bruyne are kept quiet.
  • Cardiff City vs Preston NE – Cardiff have made an impressive enough start under Neil Harris’ management, but the Bluebirds can’t defend for toffee – conceding seven in their last three, and Sean Morrison and Aden Flint will be absent here. After a tricky spell Preston have been rejuvenated with wins over Fulham and Luton, and they will be looking to kick on from here.
  • Bolton Wanderers vs Southend United – Here’s an intriguing clash at the bottom of League One. Bolton appeared to have turned a corner under Keith Hill after their transfer embargo was lifted, but three games without a win since – including a 1-7 thrashing from Accrington – suggests otherwise. Southend’s formline – W0 D3 L9 – is the stuff of nightmares, but recently they have been competitive, drawing with Burton and Rotherham. Good for a goal, the Shrimpers will fancy their chances of a long-awaited win here.
