  • Blackpool vs AFC Wimbledon: Yes – This could be a real humdinger in Lancashire, with two teams colliding for whom goals have not been in short supply. Blackpool’s last league outing was a 7-goal thriller against high flying Peterborough and they also put four past Morecambe in last week’s FA Cup first round. AFC Wimbledon may be languishing down in 20th position but they have already found the net away to Ipswich, Sunderland and Peterborough this season. Blackpool are only one point outside the playoff spots but there’s a vulnerability to them. They’ve conceded twelve times in their eight home league outings.
  • Exeter City vs Cheltenham Town: Yes – Two fourth tier sides that don’t tend to go quietly are Exeter and Cheltenham. The hosts here have lost 0-2, 1-3 and 0-4 within their last four games, with the other being a 4-0 romp over Cambridge. Cheltenham, meanwhile, have scored at least once in their last nine games, shipping in six of those outings.
  • Leyton Orient vs Scunthorpe United: Yes – Some games just have goals written all over them, and that’s the case here. Leyton Orient’s eight games at Brisbane Road so far have witnessed a whopping 25 goals, and all told BTTS has landed in 11/14 of their matches since the opening weekends of the season. Scunthorpe concede at an average of two goals per game on the road, with BTTS landing in five of their last seven.
  • Walsall vs Cambridge United: No – Walsall, tipped for promotion prior to the season, are in the direst of straits. They’ve lost six on the bounce, and their 12 goals scored is the joint lowest in League Two. It’s time to batten down the hatches, and that could lead to a low scoring contest against an inconsistent Cambridge side. Eight of their last twelve have recorded BTTS (No) verdicts, simply because they can be excellent or poor seemingly in the blink of an eye.
  • Cyprus vs Scotland: Yes – Here neutral fans can enjoy a game between two sides who simply cannot defend. Cyprus have shipped 12 in eight Euro 2020 qualification matches so far, including a 0-5 demolition at the hands of Russia. Scotland meanwhile have conceded 17, including a staggering three or more in 4/8 matches, and have to make do with a depleted squad made thinner by nine withdrawals: Andy Robertson, Kieran Tierney, Liam Cooper among them. The Scots have no recognised right or left backs!
