  • Fulham vs West Brom: Yes – Two of the best attacking teams will go at it here in an excellent advert for the Championship. Fulham have mouth-watering options in attack, and it’s little wonder they top the pile for shots on target per game and goals from open play. They will miss midfield workhorse Harry Arter though, who is suspended. West Brom have seen BTTS land in all six of their outings thus far, which helps to outline Slaven Bilic’s full throttle approach.
  • Blackburn vs Millwall: No – It’s early days, but these two have been wretched in attack so far. In 12 combined games they have mustered just two goals from open play between them, and Blackburn have also kept back-to-back cleans sheets on home soil. This might not be one for the neutrals to enjoy.
  • AFC Wimbledon vs Shrewsbury Town: No – We’re going against the gain somewhat given that BTTS has landed in 6/7 of Wimbledon games so far, but the shot data suggests these are two of the most flaccid attacks in League One. In 12 combined games, they average 2.8 shots on target per 90 minutes and have scored just five goals from open play – Shrewsbury contributing zero of those!
  • Blackpool vs MK Dons: Yes – Two teams that have better attacking players than defensive ones is usually a happy hunting ground for BTTS punters, and that’s the case with Blackpool and MK Dons who have delivered successful verdicts in 9/13 combined thus far. Blackpool’s front four of Feeney, Gnanduillet, Delfouneso and Kaikai have delivered nine goals and five assists already, while the Dons have scored all eight of their goals from open play, which suggests sustainable attacking success.
  • Oxford United vs Tranmere Rovers: Yes – Not only has BTTS has landed in Oxford’s last five games, those said outings have witnessed a total of 22 goals! The adage ‘good going forward, can’t defend’ is apt for Karl Robinson’s men. Tranmere play on the front foot, meanwhile, averaging 5.3 shots on target per game and six of their goals coming in open play.
