  • Toronto FC vs Sporting KC: Yes – Toronto are not the most resolute of teams from a defensive perspective, and their open style on home soil can lead to problems: they’ve shipped 13 in eight in front of their own supporters. The possible absence of defender Chris Mavinga and midfield dynamo Michael Bradley won’t help on that front. Sporting KC are welcoming back players from injury, including frontman Krisztian Nemeth, who has netted seven goals this term.
  • Colorado Rapids vs Minnesota United: Yes – Colorado are going along very nicely under interim head coach Conor Casey, with three wins in their last four. They have conceded in their last three games, however, so the improvement is still a work in progress. Minnesota are a decent enough side, and just look at their away outings so far: their eight away games have witnessed an incredible 31 goals (14 for, 17 against).
  • Vasteras vs Frej: No – A meaty odds-against price here on a team that has witnessed three 0-0 draws in their last five games! It’s fair to say that Vasteras are hardly the most attacking of teams in the Swedish Superettan, and their five home games thus far have seen just nine goals. Frej are a bit more forceful but they won’t dictate on away soil, and besides they have netted just five in six on the road.
  • Vasco de Gama vs Internacional: No – Here’s a fun fact about Internacional in the Brazilian Serie A: they haven’t conceded a goal in more than 270 minutes, and yet they are still to find the net in 270 minutes of football on the road themselves. It’s a correlating trend that suggests a low scoring contest here, particularly as Vasco have only scored five in seven themselves and are yet to win this term.
  • CSA vs Botafago: No – Another Serie A game not to set the tape for sees CSA, who have scored just twice in their last seven games, take on a Botafago side that has either won or lost each of their last five games by a 1-0 scoreline! This won’t be for the faint of heart….
