- Crystal Palace vs Everton – Their 4-0 demolishing that Everton dished out to Manchester United naturally took the headlines, but in its own way Crystal Palace’s 3-2 victory at Arsenal was just as impressive. The Eagles have won three of their last five games – the two defeats coming to Manchester City and Tottenham – and they are in a good place. Everton, meanwhile, are uninspiring on the road (W5 D3 L9) and will be without the injured Richarlison and suspended Andre Gomes here.
- Brighton vs Newcastle United – Brighton haven’t scored for six games now, so it would take a punter of some steel to back them to win here against a Newcastle side that is finishing the season well. Their form is pleasing enough (W5 D2 L3), and the front three of Rondon, Almiron and Perez has really found a cutting edge of late.
- Leeds United vs Aston Villa – Answers on a postcard as to why Aston Villa are odds-against to win OR draw this match! The Villains have now won an incredible ten in a row, and confidence could not be higher. Leeds, meanwhile, have seen the Championship finishing line and blinked, losing three of their last five games.
- Swansea City vs Hull City – We backed West Brom to beat Hull City at the Hawthorns on Good Friday for one main reason: the Tigers aren’t very good on the road. The Baggies duly obliged to extend Hull’s away day blues to W6 D4 L12. Swansea are pretty good at home (W12 D4 L5), and they can still make the Championship play-offs – with five wins from their last six games, and half-dozen wins in a row on home soil, they are giving it their best shot.
- Oxford United vs Doncaster Rovers – Oxford’s amazing renaissance continues at pace. Even as recently as February they were in relegation trouble, but a fine run – W6 D2 L0 – has saw them hurtle up the table. Doncaster have lost to Sunderland and Accrington in their last two, and their away record (W7 D5 L10, goal difference of -6) reveals their vulnerabilities.
