Chelsea were turned over by Tottenham despite taking the lead, while Brighton couldn’t manage a win or a draw against travelling Leicester. Had Glenn Murray scored that 77th minute penalty to give his side the lead then perhaps things would have been rather different….

Birmingham City vs Burton Albion: Under 2.5 Goals
This is a relegation six-pointer and no mistake.
Desperation manifests itself in different ways, but in Garry Monk it seems Birmingham have a steady hand to lead them into the dogfight. He has gone back to basics – that old cliché and relegation-threatened sides, but it seems to be working: a trio of consecutive clean sheets leading to victories over Hull, Ipswich and Bolton.
We expect the Blues to set up in a conservative manner again, and you wonder if this Burton side have the guile to break them down.
It was at this point of the season that the Brewers rallied last year to evade the drop by the skin of their teeth, but so far this term they haven’t offered anything of the sort. Indeed, one win since January 1 tells its own tale.
Burton are also the lowest scorers in the Championship, with a paltry 29 strikes in 40 appearances.
Millwall vs Bristol City: Millwall +0.00 Asian Handicap
Millwall’s incredible charge up the Championship table has not gone unnoticed. The Lions are unbeaten since New Year’s Day with nine wins and five draws, and their New Den home remains a veritable fortress: W10 D7 L3 is impressive stuff.
Bristol City’s topsy-turvy campaign continues. They’ve won just one of their last five and twice since the start of February – is the backlog of games finally taking its toll on their small squad?
The Robins tend not to fare well on the road, with their last away win coming back in December.
Rotherham vs Fleetwood: Fleetwood +1.50 Asian Handicap
The bookmakers have made Rotherham a comfortable favourite for this match, based principally on their league placing of fourth compared to Fleetwood’s thirteenth.
But a closer inspection of the current form book suggests the bookies might just have made an error. Rotherham have lost four of their last six league outings – not aided by a spate of injuries and a loss of confidence at home.
Fleetwood, meanwhile, are unbeaten in seven under new boss John Sheridan, a run which includes five consecutive clean sheets and four wins on the spin.
Mansfield Town vs Crewe Alexandra: Crewe +1.50 Asian Handicap
We wagered against Mansfield last time out and we’re willing to do the same here.
They are without a win in seven under new boss David Flitcroft, and with three defeats in a row there is the very tangible sense they are there for the taking – particularly with the pressure at home of picking up points to reassert themselves in the top seven.
No such agonies for Crewe, who are awful defensively but yet who have netted two or more goals in five of their last seven games. That attacking freedom could well see them do the business at a panic-ridden Mansfield outfit.
Yeovil Town vs Luton Town: Yeovil/Draw Double Chance
Quite what happened last time out is anybody’s guess, but Yeovil – not in the best of form – cantered into a 3-0 lead at Coventry after just 15 minutes.
The Glovers didn’t relent either, finishing up with a 6-2 victory over a Coventry outfit that was previously unbeaten in seven.
Luton are top of League Two and so will be fancied here, but as we’ve reiterated a number of times this term they simply aren’t very good away from home.
They’ve won just 7/20 on the road this season, with their last success coming back in January. For added context, the leaders have earned 30 points away from this season; Yeovil have take 28 on their own turf. Should they be a 4/1 underdog?
