We managed to land just 2/5 last week in an effort that was severely hampered by the disrupted fixture list caused by the international break.
The crumbs of comfort came from landing a handsome 4/5 shot as Chesterfield entertained Notts County, which helped to claw back some profits.

Watford vs Bournemouth – Yes (4/6)
This is something of a numbers game, with two key stats making obvious appeal for punters: Watford have the joint-worst home defensive record in the Premier League, which naturally makes them intriguing fodder for BTTS when matches at Vicarage Road roll around.
And secondly, BTTS has landed in eleven of Bournemouth’s last twelve league outings.
Both teams, to make matters more interesting, have defensive injury concerns, with Watford sweating on the progress of Wague, Kaboul, Kabasele and Chalobah and Bournemouth keeping a close eye on Begovic, Francis and Adam Smith.
Leeds United vs Bolton Wanderers – Yes (10/11)
Leeds have conceded two or more goals in five of their last six games, and while Paul Heckingbottom will have had plenty of time to work on defensive shape during the international break you wonder if his efforts will be to any avail.
Bolton are scrapping for their lives at the other end of the table, and every point will count now for the Trotters as they look to achieve a fantastic act of Championship escapology.
The Lancashire outfit have scored in five of their last six, and while they aren’t prolific by any means their physical style will surely unsettle a Leeds backline hopelessly short of confidence at present.
Cheltenham Town vs Carlisle United – Yes (8/11)
Cheltenham’s front foot style has delivered plenty of goalmouth action for their supporters to enjoy; albeit at both ends of the pitch.
Their 39 matches this term in League Two have yielded a ridiculous 115 goals, with their latest outing seeing them win 5-3 at Crawley Town.
Carlisle are playing some lovely attacking football at present and creating plenty of chances: as if to magnify the point further they have only failed to find the net once in 14 attempts in 2018 so far.
But the Cumbrians are conceding too; hence why BTTS has landed in seven of their last ten.
Notts County vs Wycombe – Yes (8/11)
Wycombe sit third in the League One table with 70 points….Notts County are fourth on 66.
With so much at stake and the finishing in sight, it’s hard to imagine that this encounter will peter out into a tame draw.
The Magpies were soundly beaten 1-3 by Chesterfield on Sunday; their fourth straight BTTS verdict. Defending is becoming a clear problem for them, as a run of just two clean sheets in thirteen appearances attests – and this is from a side chasing automatic promotion, remember.
The Chairboys are slightly more resilient, but even so their most recent results on the road – 2-3, 2-1, 3-2, 3-2, 1-1, 2-0, 2-0 and 3-2 – confirm that goals tend to follow them on their travels.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Augsburg – Yes (3/4)
The international break has been welcomed by plenty of sides battling injuries, but unfortunately for Augsburg it has done very little to replenish their bare bones.
They currently have two goalkeepers on the sidelines in Fabian Giefer and Marwin Hitz, as well as defenders Daniel Opare and Raphael Framberger.
That’s partly why they entered the break in such poor form – W1 D1 L4 – and they will be looking to turn that around as soon as possible.
The visitors are typically reliable in front of goal, having netted in 20/27 Bundesliga outings this term, and that’s why they are of BTTS interest at an unpredictable Bayer Leverkusen outfit.
Bizarrely, both teams have only scored in two of Leverkusen’s last seven, which confirms they are either very good or very bad on any given day and very rarely anything in between.
Notably, they tend to struggle on home soil against teams that come at them – Bayern, Schalke and Hertha Berlin have all won at Leverkusen recently – and Augsburg have enough about them to get at their hosts.
