We had to settle for 3/5 from our both teams to score betting tips last week, with Barnsley and Oldham failing to find the net.
Even so, there were still a couple of juicy winners at odds of 4/5 courtesy of Brentford vs Middlesbrough and Newport vs Luton.
We have a severely abridged fixture list to work with this week, which makes life tricky, but nevertheless we go in with full confidence.

Fleetwood Town vs Northampton Town – Yes (4/5)
Towards the end of the season stats can routinely go out of the window, and teams who otherwise wouldn’t be on the BTTS radar suddenly become of interest.
Two such sides are Fleetwood and Northampton, particularly as this is the proverbial relegation six-pointer.
Just two points separates the Cobblers, who are in the relegation zone, and the Cod Army, who aren’t, and so the need to win this one is obvious.
The hosts have improved since John Sheridan took charge, but don’t write off Northampton, who have scored in nine of their last twelve outings.
Peterborough United vs Bristol Rovers – Yes (4/7)
There’s no magic or sorcery with this selection: both of these teams are BTTS fiends.
It’s a bet that would have landed in seven of Peterborough’s last eight league games and in 8/10 as far as Bristol Rovers are concerned, so we are merely playing the percentages with this pick.
Both of these sides have play-off ambitions, so if there’s an early goal all hell could break loose in both penalty areas.
Forest Green vs Mansfield Town – Yes (5/6)
It’s come late in the piece, but Forest Green have discovered a real appetite for goals lately.
They’ve scored at least once in each of their last eight, but pertinently have conceded in seven of those including six in their last pair of outings against Accrington and Crewe.
Steve Evans, the roly-poly manager who did such a good job at Mansfield this term, has upped and left for the exotic pastures of Peterborough, and so far the jury is out on his successor, David Flitcroft.
Four 1-1 draws on the spin have warmed the cockles of BTTS punters, but they have hardly aided the Stags’ promotion push. They will find Forest Green to be a tricky opponent on their own patch.
Chesterfield vs Notts County – Yes (4/5)
There is so much riding on this game, and when you factor in that it is a local derby too, of sorts, then we really do have the recipe for a humdinger.
Chesterfield have to win, make no mistake. They are six points adrift of safety in League Two, and their desperation is evident in a number of attacking performances of late in which they have scored in four of five.
But they are conceding too – hence their bottom-but-one position in the league table – and Notts County, hanging onto third place by a thread, will be looking to take full advantage.
If Wycombe beat Port Vale at home on Saturday as you would expect then the Magpies will be a full three points off the automatic promotion places, and that helps to settle the mind somewhat. Kevin Nolan’s side have played 19 away games this term and those have witnessed some 45 goals.
Dagenham & Redbridge vs AFC Fylde – Yes (4/6)
Beleaguered Dag & Reds don’t know whether they are coming or going at the minute, and off-the-field woes have been reflected in a run of form reading W2 D0 L7.
That said, they are still scoring goals having stuck four past Hartlepool and three past Torquay and Chester, which is enough to prick up the ears of the BTTS glitterati.
As for Fylde, well, they won’t fear a trip to Dagenham. They’ve scored thirteen goals in their last three games – that’s not a misprint – and yet haven’t kept a single clean sheet in eight. This one could be a high-scoring affair.
